Cho Gue-sung (born January 25, 1998) is a South Korean professional footballer who plays as a forward for FC Midtjylland and the South Korea national team.
He gained significant international attention during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he became the first South Korean player to score two goals in a single World Cup match, achieving this feat against Ghana. His performance and visuals garnered a large following globally.
Before his international breakthrough, Cho played domestically in the K League 1 for Gimcheon Sangmu (while fulfilling his mandatory military service) and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
In July 2023, he transferred to FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga, marking his first move to a European club. He is known for his heading ability, strong physique, and goal-scoring instincts.
